The Tribunal having considered the Complaint dated 15 December 2008, at the instance of the Council of the Law Society against Thomas H Murray, Solicitor, formerly of 100 Pendeen Road, Glasgow and now of Canelecchia, Location 1, Molazzama, Brucciano, Lucca, 5020, Italy; Direct that all proceedings in relation to this Complaint be heard in private; Dismiss the Respondent’s preliminary pleas; Find the Respondent liable in the expenses of the Complainers and in the expenses of the Tribunal in relation to this hearing as the same may be taxed by the auditor of the Court of Session on a Solicitor and client indemnity basis in terms of Chapter Three of the last published Law Society’s Table of Fees for general business with a unit rate of £14.00; Adjourn the Complaint to a further procedural hearing on 29 April 2009 and Direct that publicity be given to this decision and that this publicity should include the name of the Respondent but that such publicity should be deferred until the substantive hearing in relation to this Complaint and until further information is received regarding possible criminal proceedings connected with this matter.
